Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, had a telephone talk with Hans-Gert Poettering, President of the European Parliament. The Parties discussed development of the current political situation in Ukraine and possible ways of its settlement. The President of the European Parliament is convinced that current political crisis should be settled in a democratic way.
In his turn, Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, assured his European counterpart that development of events would comply with the Constitution of Ukraine and democratic standards.
The Parties agreed to hold a bilateral meeting in Brussels in the nearest time.
